                      The 3-day Construction Project Management (CPM) training course covers the principles, processes, tools and techniques of project management in an engineering and construction context. The Construction Project Management course is validated by the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) for 15 CPD hours.

                      The Project and Construction Project Management Professions Act 48 of 2000 requires persons who manage projects within the Built Environment from conception to completion, including management of related professional services, to be registered with the SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager (PrCPM). The Built Environment includes all structures that are planned and/or erected above or underground, as well as the land utilised for the purpose and supporting infrastructure.

                      ProjectPro now offers a 3-day Engineering and Construction Project Management (ECPM) course which is ideal for professional engineers who need to pursue their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points to renew their registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).

                      The South African Association of Consulting Engineers (SAACE) has validated ProjectPro’s new 3-day Engineering & Construction Project Management course.This will earn successful learners three CPD credits towards the 25 credits per 5-year cycle, as required by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), for engineers to retain their registration.

                      Scheduling a project’s tasks can become a nightmare unless one is trained in properly structuring the project using a Work Breakdown Structure to ensure all the work packages are captured and decomposed into logically sequenced and resourced tasks. It is recommended that the learner attend an introductory course such as Project Management Demystified prior to the MS Project, but this is not essential.
